Physical Etoys: helping kids program the real world

Gonzalo Zabala

Abstract

The objective of this project is to integrate Etoys with an essential aspect that has been left aside for the last few years in technology education: the real material. Nowadays, children are beginning to lose touch with reality because technology education tends to be mainly digital. Physical Etoys is a development that aims to overcome this issue by providing a powerful and intuitive visual programming system in order to explore and learn science in an enjoyable way.
