Title: Squeak as a peer-to-peer platform
Abstract: AardWorks VoF is working to develop Open Source software under the title 'Digital Society for the Past'. This software is a peer-to-peer platform that aims to enable a social network of people who are interested in (Dutch) history, helps them exchange information and archive contents, and bring hobbyists and professional institutions into contact with each other. The presentation will give a short demonstration of the software and a detailed overview of especially the peer to-peer architecture which could also prove useful for other projects.
